Since 1901, Chippewa Boots has been committed to manufacturing the finest boots and shoes in the United States. The name of the company comes from the Indian tribe indigenous to the region around Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, the home of the first Chippewa Boot factory. In the beginning, Chippewa Boots produced a top end logging boot for those working in the pulp and paper industry in the upper Midwest and Canada. Currently Chippewa Boots makes six different classifications of boots: Rugged Outdoors, Lodge, Field, Street Warrior, IQ and Women’s. The Rugged Outdoors Series is designed for rugged outdoor activities whether they are for work or fun. The Lodge Series offers contemporary styling for everyday wear. The Field Series is a combination of durability, performance, style and comfort for both the sportsman and the casual wearer. Road Warrior Boots are designed using high quality materials and craftsmanship. Chippewa was one of the original makers of motorcycle boots in the U.S.A. Chippewa’s Industrial Quality steel toe line is designed to provide all day comfort and protection. Chippewa makes their women’s boots using a form that more accurately replicates a woman’s foot because a woman’s foot isn’t just a smaller version of a man’s.
