These Chippewa 73060 Steel Toe EH Insulated Logger Boots are designed to be hard-wearing and durable. The uppers are made from Briar Pitstop Full-Grain Leather. Briar Pitstop is a leather with a lot of waxes and oils applied during the tanning process. The concentration of these oils and waxes in the leather make it “explosive” meaning it has a lot of “pullup”. This can be seen when you fold the leather tightly. This causes the oils to move around inside the leather creating a color change. The Taibrelle lining inside these boots has moisture-wicking capabilities to keep your feet dry and odor-free. These boots also have 400-gram Thinsulate insulation. Thinsulate is non-bulky, compact-resistant, and durable. The ASTM-approved Steel Toes shield your feet from the dangers of compression or falling objects.
