Chippewa 73047 Insulated Steel Toe EH Logger Boots are made with heavy-duty materials to help you do heavy-duty work.

The black, oiled leather uppers are incredibly soft and strong, both flexible and tough. Because it's been oiled, the leather will repel water to provide weather-resistance. Heavy-duty sta-tied laces, which have been waxed for additional water-resistance, weave around non-tarnishable brass hardware.

Inside, brushed ruby Nylex lining surrounds feet in softness. The moisture-wicking material helps reduce sweat. Meanwhile, the Texon insoles gently cushion steps with an orthotic, contouring design. Removable, the footbeds may be easily cleaned any time.

Thinsulate Ultra insulation (400 gram weight) protects feet from freezing temperatures. The insulation absorbs and reflects natural body heat to keep you warm in cold conditions. The combination midsoles are made with 4 iron rubber and 6 iron robus to give you a tough layer of shock-resistance. Steel shanks support your muscles, prevent fatigue and strain.

Goodyear welt construction joins the Vibram one-piece yellow plug outsoles to the leather with repairable, flexible stitching. The lug outsoles are designed with slip-resistance and a deep tread pattern to give you gripping traction. Oil-resistance protects the soles from corrosive chemical wear.

Chippewa 73047 Insulated Steel Toe EH Logger Boots are rated for resistance to electrical hazards. The boots are ASTM-approved for EH safety, so they'll absorb up to 600 volts of harmful electricity. The steel toes are tested to meet ASTM F2413-05 I/75 C/75 standards of impact- and compression-resistance.
