The dark brown, full-gain leather uppers are completely water-proof. This means the leather is treated with silicon, causing the fibers to swell and lock out water. The seams are sealed with rubber cement, and non-absorbing nylon thread is used in the stitching keep water and moisture out. The mesh lining is lightweight, and works as a cooling system to keep your feet comfortable.
