The ankle-cut uppers are made with pebbled full-grain leather for soft strength. The flexible leather is easy to clean and water-resistant for better durability. Converse StarGuard membranes provide waterproofing protection on the inside. The moisture-wicking Tailex lining helps prevent sweat.

Soft EVA foam was used in the midsoles and insoles to create two layers of lightweight cushioning. The removable footbeds can be cleaned any time. Converse Athlite traction rubber was used to create the dual-density soles. Heel wedges (made with sponge rubber) add shock-resistance. Shock eliminator heel plugs and heel airbags are also integrated into the impact-absorbing design.

The non-marking soles are slip-resistant to give your feet grip even on slick surfaces. Oil-resistance prevents chemical corrosion for added durability. The 90-degree heels (which help you maintain stable footing) also offer protection from electrical hazards, absorbing up to 600 volts of dangerous electricity.
